The playground in the Husova Park in Koliba was renewed, benches were replaced and new pavement and greenery were planted.
Safer impact areas have been added to the playground and the original asphalt surfaces were replaced with water-permeable paving. New furniture was installed in the park – nine benches and two rubbish bins. New lighting was added.
New turf, perennial beds, three trees, and a hedge have been planted throughout the grounds. Residents can also enjoy the newly restored fountain.
The Husova Park revitalization project was coordinated by the Urban Greenery Department. The Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava provided consultancy throughout the implementation period and held a participatory meeting with residents on-site.
This project is part of the Bratislava Public Spaces Renewal Scheme – Vivid Spaces.
