The new senior care facility will increase the capacity in social service homes, as one of the objectives of the Bratislava 2030 strategic plan.
By 2026, architects from the Atrium studio will create a new social-health center for 30 clients in the Dlhé diely district of Karlova Ves. Empty land adjacent to Hlaváčikova Street will serve as the facility’s location. It should provide complete care for seniors who require accommodation, meals, cleaning, nursing, rehabilitation, and social counseling. A lower two or three-story building with an elevator and a private garden. The future design should meet the criteria for aesthetics, safety, and clear orientation in space.
