The revitalization of Katarína Brúderová Street in Vajnory aims to adapt the public space in the residential quarter of the city and to improve its residential function.
The revitalization envisages the creation of a pedestrian zone with the preservation of transport services to the residencies. Newly planted trees shall increase safety for pedestrians and cyclists and create a high-quality public space around the well suited for socializing. An important change will be the replacement of asphalt with benches on green islands. In addition to the classic green space, a rain garden will also be added, which will contribute to better water management.
This project is part of the Bratislava Public Spaces Renewal Scheme – Vivid Spaces.
