Štúrova Street has undergone minor functional interventions, thanks to which this predominantly transit place has been given a residential function.
Štúrova Street is an important space that connects the Old Town with the Danube and the Old Bridge. It is a busy transit area for pedestrians, cyclists, and people using public transport.
Revitalization has brought in mobile greenery that creates a more pleasant environment. Street furniture was also added – Bratislava benches, which will also contribute to a more residential character of the walkway. Garbage bins were installed around pedestrian crossings to ensure street cleanliness. Bike racks were added in widened sections of the trail. Revitalization preserves the accessibility of the street.
This project is part of the Bratislava Public Spaces Renewal Scheme – Vivid Spaces.
