The renovation of the square based on the winning design of the architectural and landscaping design competition will provide new opportunities for leisure, which should strengthen neighborly relations.
The planned renovation of Jurigovo Square aims to return the neglected public space to the inhabitants. The project also intends to mitigate the effects of climate change and provide an acceptable micro-climate by adding greenery, water conservation measures, and new water features. Walking areas will be improved and the residential quality will be restored.
The final form of the square was determined by an architectural and landscaping design competition. The jury described the winning design, by architects from 2M ateliér architektúry, as sensitive, complex, and timeless.
