Thanks to new impact surfaces, quality playground equipment, street furniture and lighting, the playground and greenery in Vešlýny's Garden in the park on Dunajská Street will become an attractive space for spending time with children right in the city centre.
A “children water play” connected to the rain garden will be created, providing an eco-stabilising function for the environment. Perennial beds will be added to improve water absorption and create a more diverse habitat.
This project is part of the Programme for the public space revitalization in Bratislava – Vivid Spaces. It is the first-ever framework for a systematic change of the public space of the capital on several levels. The scheme is implemented in cooperation with the capital city and the city districts.
