The planned reconstruction will help the market to improve its situation and increase its attractiveness not only for visitors but also for current and future vendors.
Miletičova Marketplace is a unique area with an excellent location within the city and a huge potential for further growth into an attractive and important public space on a city-wide level. However, the area is deteriorating and a comprehensive reconstruction is needed.
The MIB carried out a participative process at Miletička, which resulted in an assessment of the key incentives for the further restoration of Miletička. The whole report will be part of the urban planning and architectural competition. MIB will advise architects on how to preserve the genius loci of the market.
