The park on Legion\u00e1rsk\u00e1 Street has added 50 flowering sakura trees, which have enlivened the area and helped to create a pleasant little park near the public transport stop, residential buildings and the boarding school. In the next phase, the space was comprehensively renovated on the basis of an architectural design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Legion\u00e1rska Park, we created complex water retention measures that make use of rainwater from the roofs of the adjacent dormitory. Paved and unpaved areas were improved, additional greenery, new furniture and lighting were added to the sakura trees. As part of the restoration, the foreground of the statue with the bust of Samuel Chalupka was improved. The renovation also responded to the lack of outdoor sports facilities in the area, so a new multifunctional playground was added. The local partner of the restoration was the Slovak Technical University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
