They contain information about the geographical location and descriptive information about individual objects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GIS provides for the creation of spatial analysis and modelling which contributes to many important spatial planning tasks and decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current Team Workload:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Digitization and map processing of the urban study of the height zoning of Bratislava&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digitization and map processing of the full text of Bratislava&#8217;s Master Plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update and digitization of territorial generals (education, culture, sports, green spaces, allotment gardens, etc.)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of a more efficient internal system and stock-checking of amendments and supplements to the spatial plan of the capital city of Bratislava&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map Applications Development&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support for GIS education in other MIB departments&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/geoportal.bratislava.sk\/pfa\/apps\/sites\/#\/verejny-mapovy-portal\/pages\/uzemny-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Public Map Portal<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible management of urban development requires spatial information that is constantly updated, as well as the ability to use that information.&nbsp;&nbsp;
